症例2：無症状の舌根扁桃肥大症（LTH）
CASE 2: a patient with asymptomatic lingual tonsil hypertrophy (LTH)
この症例では上気道が閉塞している状態となっていましたが、挿管に西川ブレードを用いて最適外部喉頭操作法（OELM）と併用することで、1回目で挿管に成功しました。
西川ブレードはマッキントッシュ型ブレードに比べ、喉頭蓋を十分に挙上することができ、挿管しやすくなります。
Intubation was completed using the Nishikawa blade with optimal external laryngeal manipulation (OELM) on the first attempt. Compared to the Macintosh blade, the Nishikawa blade could sufficiently elevate the epiglottis for ease of intubation.
